Biorevitalization is an injectable treatment intended to hydrate and improve skin quality, commonly using a hyaluronic-acid-based product. It does not contour the face like a traditional filler. The goal is improved hydration, smoothness, elasticity and freshness on the face, neck, décolleté and, with suitable products, around the eyes or lips.
Some improvement may be visible after one session, but a course of 2–3 treatments is often recommended for a more sustained outcome. Intervals are usually several weeks and depend on the product instructions, dehydration, age and goal. Mature or markedly sun-damaged skin may require a combination plan.
There is no single guaranteed duration. Benefits may remain for several months, influenced by the formulation, number of sessions, metabolism, UV exposure, smoking, stress and home care. Maintenance should follow reassessment rather than an identical automatic schedule for everyone.
Papules, redness, mild swelling, tenderness and bruising may occur. Papules commonly settle within 1–3 days, although some areas and swelling-prone skin take longer. The final outcome should not be judged on treatment day.
For 24 hours, avoid rubbing or massaging the area, makeup over puncture sites and strenuous exercise. For several days avoid saunas, pools, very hot baths, tanning and intense sun. Pause acids, retinoids and aggressive exfoliation until the skin is calm. Use daily SPF.
The face, eyes, lips, neck and décolleté require appropriate products, volume and technique. Swelling tendency is especially important around the eyes. Lip biorevitalization aims at tissue hydration and quality rather than necessarily increasing volume.
Treatment is avoided during pregnancy and breastfeeding, with active infection or inflammation, and with allergy to ingredients. Clotting disorders, anticoagulants, autoimmune or oncological disease require individual assessment and review of the product instructions.
